YOUTH FINE ART CLASSES
SESSION 2: March 1 – April 25
- Registration opens Feb 2nd for current students. Open enrollment is Feb 3rd.
- The building is closed Friday, April 3rd.
- No classes April 3rd – 5th
Youth fine art classes are held in room 127, located on the first floor of the Greensboro Cultural Center. Each session has six 1.5-hour classes. Supplies are included in the fee. Students should be prepared to have a fun and educational fine arts experience.
Homeschool Drawing & Painting
Ages 8-14 | Mondays 1:30-3 | $110/6 weeks
Session 2: March 9, 16, 23, April 6, 13, 20
REGISTER
An introduction to the fundamentals of drawing and painting. Students will explore the use of a variety of materials and how to construct their own drawings and paintings using the foundations learned. Students will also learn about artists of the past and present so that they have a greater understanding of what art has been and is today.
Teen Drawing and Painting
Ages 13–16 | Wednesdays, 5:00–6:30pm | $110/6 weeks
Session 2: March 11, 18, 25, April 8, 15, 22
REGISTER
Throughout this six week series we will work on the basic skills of the portion and scale as well as using value and shading to create depth in an art work we will do both through drawing and painting mediums.
