Class Description
Art classes meet in room 127 of the Greensboro Cultural Center weekly for 6 weeks per session. There are 6 sessions per year. Class size is limited to 8 to 10 students and pre-registration is required. Payment is due by the first class. Please note: these classes are for ages 16 & up.

This is a 6-week course in the academic tradition of life drawing. Working from a live model, students will gain knowledge of methods and techniques to aid in the accurate depiction of the human body from direct observation. In this course, the topics covered may include basic artist’s anatomy, body plan, mass conceptions, perspective, observation and measuring skills. Previous drawing experience is strongly recommended.
