Adult Pottery Introduction Saturday

Description

Humans have been making pottery for more than 25,000 years.  Working with clay to make beautiful, useful objects connects us to the ancient roots of human civilization.    In this class you will learn about clay, a singularly useful material.  Our professional instructors will teach you techniques to manipulate clay and create unique objects.  You will be introduced to pinching, coiling, slab construction and wheel throwing.  At the end of this course you will have completed several projects and be able to take home finished usable pottery.  This class is for true beginners. All supplies are included.
