Class Age Guidelines

Choosing the right class helps ensure each student has the best experience in the studio.

If you reached this page, the class selected may not be the best fit for the student’s age. Please review the guidelines below and choose the appropriate class level.

Age Guidelines by Class Level

Youth Classes

Ages 7–11

Youth classes are designed for younger students who are building foundational skills and confidence in a supportive age-appropriate environment.

If the student is age 12 or older, please choose a Teen class instead.

Teen Classes

Ages 12–15

Teen classes are designed for students who are ready for more independence, skill development, and a pace appropriate for older youth.

If the student is age 16 or older, please choose an Adult class instead.

Homeschool Youth/Teen Classes

Ages 7–15

Homeschool classes are open to both youth and teen students within this age range.

If the student is age 16 or older, please choose an Adult class instead.

Adult Classes

Ages 16 and up

Adult classes are designed for students age 16 and older.
